The Hague is a stylish and unique fitness studio richer: at Nexxt Gym you train yourself in just twenty minutes a week. By using Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS), a method from the sports world, you quickly and specifically build muscle strength.

Barzileye design

The environment and look & feel are very important for The Nexxt Gym. It was, therefore, a good thing that Barzilay was able to design the interior herself with her design agency Barzileye Concept & Design. As always, for this project, she and her partner have chosen special materials and bold contrasts to achieve a quirky design that perfectly matches the goal of The Nexxt Gym. In this case: bronze mirrors in combination with Berlin Blue, walnut wood panels and fluorescent details that make this training facility a high-end and cool gym where you feel comfortable, if not feel at home. "That is exactly what I had in mind for our project, space where I would like to exercise myself", says Angelika Barzilay. Unique is that in this case the designer also designed the entire house style, which makes the brand identity appear extra powerful. The Nexxt Gym is emphatically distinguished by this powerful look and feel, which makes you want to train here and not anywhere else.

Fluorescent yellow accents

The details of yellow in the gym interior are made of plexiglass supplied by PyraSied Xtreme Acrylic. The Nexxt logo is laser-cut from the 10 mm thick fluor sheets. These recesses are found on the walls where the logo can be found in bright yellow.
