Focus on detail is a project by designer Annelien Gispen that came about primarily with form studies. During the form study, Annelien became fascinated by the playfulness of semicircular beams. The reason here is that despite the curvature, flat surfaces can still be created. While connecting the beams, Annelien became intrigued by the minimalist and elegant connection between the legs and the lines.
Because Annelien wanted to focus on the legs and the details that are in it, she chose to choose transparent and semi-transparent table tops. Annelien has combined various PyraSied acrylic collections for the tabletops. Annelien has chosen to use Versato® Myst warm smoke 26906 and acrylic light smoke brown 16064 and to have these materials laser-cut in a circular shape.
