The project "Into Orbit" is an attempt to put together the beauty of organic design and the mystique of the universe. This has resulted in a series of lamps build out of rings made of wood and acrylic which are then formed into a smooth whole on the lathe.

The unique properties of both materials stand out well in the lamps, i.e. the thin veneer layers of the birch plywood and the transparent acrylic reinforce shape and function.
