The LIUW objects consist of light and layered compositions of coloured glass panels. In the space, LIUW enriches the atmosphere and the identity of its environment. This affects the emotional experience of the user. A place where you can be amazed is also a place where you can relax. On or off, the physical presence of LIUW changes light into shape.

Biography:
Hedwich Hooghiemstra (1995) graduated from the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen in 2016 and graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2018 with the furniture collection "Adaptable Seating".
She starts her design process by creating an image that defines atmosphere and identity. Later, the functions of the room or of the product are integrated. This creates a layering that gives a different use and experience.
Her focus is on both products and architecture. Whether in public space or in the private sphere, the designs inspire to look beyond the object.
