Maurizio from TC-Acrylic had bought a laser last year and cut out sheets from sheets that were a misproduction. With these small sheets he made mosaic tiles. He wanted to create a Mondriaan table and this is what he did to make it: Arrange the pieces neatly on a glass sheet, then wrap a PVC string around them, place a glass sheet on top it and then apply a layer of clear acrylic on it, then turn it over, remove the glass sheet, apply a new string, put glass on it and also clear on that side. casting.
Then you have a 15 or 20 mm thick sheet with a mosaic in it. When I looked at the various mosaic sheets at Maurizio in the hall I suddenly thought of Mondriaan. That with this technique you could easily make a Mondriaan look-a-like sheet. Maurizio thought that was a great idea and made 2 sheets for me. The Mondriaan sheet measurement 2000 x 1200 x 15 mm.
